Wedding Information / Policies
Marriage is a gift God has given to all humankind for the well-being of the entire human family. Marriage involves the unique commitment between two people to love and support each other for the rest of their lives. The sacrificial love that unites a couple sustains them as faithful and responsible members of the church and the wider community.
We host and officiate member weddings, charging members only for the Clergy, Custodian, and organist. Non-member weddings fees includes rental of the building and outside grounds. All couples married by the pastor are required to attend five pre-marital counseling sessions (which includes planning the wedding ceremony) to be completed at least a month prior to the wedding date.
Any couple interested in pursuing the possibility of being married (and/or) having their reception at FPC should contact Rodette Mess, Administrative Secretary at the church office. Click this link for a current fee schedule.
