Planting a Pizza Garden

The Green Team and FPC Youth rented a bed at the FPC Community Garden to grow a pizza garden.  Broccoli, mint, garlic, spinach, tomatoes, onions, oregano, kale, swiss chard, basil, peanut peppers, parsley, along with marigold flowers for our pollinators, were planted by Green Team members and youth.  Children, their families, and Green Team members will tend to garden plot over the summer. As fall approached the fresh garden greens were harvested to create delicious pizzas.
